Before we dive into the review…
I wanted to make two points about chainsaw maintenance.
#1 Blades – Keeping the blades sharp on a chainsaw is critically important for it to function properly and cut well. It’s essential to get your blades sharpened regularly if you want your saw to last. There are many blade sharpening tools out there, both for US and UK customers.
#2 Motor – If you purchase a petrol powered chainsaw you are going to have to do regular servicing to keep it running well. This will cost some money. If you’re not going to use it regularly, the cost per use will be very high and might not be worth it. It’s just something else to bear in mind before deciding which is right for you.
