Once you add the antibacterial solution to the spot washer, you can use the jet spray to target stains with precision and spray them before cleaning.

Just make sure to keep the head close to the stain, as in the picture, as the jet sprays forward when you squeeze the trigger.

Pro Tip: If you have really bad stains, and your carpets can handle it, you can get low concentration bleach cleaners to tackle stubborn stains.

The Vax ONEPWR Spot Washer comes with a powerful 2.0 Ah lithium-ion battery that gives it 15 minutes of powerful cleaning performance.

In addition, the battery can be removed and shared between other appliances from the ONEPWR collection from Vax.

The battery takes around 90 minutes to fully charge, which may sound like a lot but the key is to keep it plugged in after use so it’s ready to go when you need it.

Also, once the battery is dead, which is inevitable, you can just replace the battery instead of buying a whole new spot washer, which is something worth considering when buying cordless appliances.

What are People Saying…?

Online reviews of people who’ve bought and used the Vax ONEPWR Spot Washer are mixed, but overall good. They can’t seem to comprehend how is it that their carpets were so dirty when they didn’t look dirty at all.

The sheer horror of the dirt it took out of my carpet in a “spot clean” is going to give me nightmares. Yes, there’s been a little building work but they are vacuumed weekly and look clean… Plus the bristle brush loosened a collection of embedded dog hairs (eeek). I am genuinely disturbed by the dirt that has been revealed.
So, naturally, I have to give this little machine a 5* rating. It is so simple to use, straight from the box – everything you need is provided including a bottle of carpet cleaning solution. I put the battery on charge, expecting that I’d be able to use the machine later this evening but it charged from one bar to full in around an hour. I didn’t bother reading the manual – the quick start guide told me all I needed. It took me less than five minutes to clean my “spot” thoroughly. The water vacuum seems quite powerful for such a small unit, and it’s always satisfying to see the solution/dirt being sucked away. – C.Robson

What’s the Downside…?

The one thing people seem to mind about the Vax ONEPWR SpotlessGo is the small capacity of the detergent tank.

It has to be constantly topped up to keep going, but when you compare it to other options, it’s much easier to fill a small tank in a machine than filling up buckets or scrubbing the floor by hand.

The water/detergent tank is tiny, whilst the waste water compartment is many times bigger. You will find that the detergent tank doesn’t last very long before you need to stop and refill it, which again is a pain. But still, overall, it makes cleaning a lot easier than doing it by hand. – Marco Busani
