Evopower have a range of very competent lawn mowers and this is the smallest one in their Evopower range, but don’t be put off by that…It really delivers on power and efficiency. The small engine is sufficient for dealing with leaves, small twigs and long grass. The only thing lacking power might be your legs as you have to push it! It comes packed with some great features, too, including:
- An efficient 98cc 4 stroke engine which runs on straight unleaded fuel so no need to add oil

Surprisingly, this lawn mower is not as popular as we think it should be. I’m not sure why because it delivers and is very reasonably priced. As such, the user feedback is a little lower than normal but hopefully what we say about it will help you decide to buy this mower if you are looking for a well priced, budget petrol lawn mower.

We’ve seen a lot of lawn mowers in our time and this one we really like. It’s compact, lightweight and does the job without a fuss. It’s not packed with features but that’s part of its appeal because you know it will last a long time and continue on with its job without the need for expensive, technically challenging work to be completed.
It’s nice and manoeuverable so you can get into those hard to reach places and go a long way with it because the engine is an efficient 98cc model which means less fuel being used.
Having a large-ish 40cm wide cutting blade means that you can cover relatively large areas without too much of a hassle and the 40 litre grass box is sufficiently large to accommodate the grass cuttings without having to empty the box too often.
Compared to the other models in this petrol category it might not be the biggest, most powerful or have the most amount of features but it certainly does a great job for a budget lawn mower.
Is it Right for you?
For a little over £100 you are getting a lawn mower that is going to last you many years without any problems, provided you treat it with a little TLC every now and then. It’s a push lawn mower so it will help to keep you fit, too! If storage is of concern it is a compact and light mower so can easily be kept in any small corner of the garage or garden shed.
