What Users Say
Users love the finish that this mower gives to your lawn. Some have commented that it will give a “bowling green” finish, but obviously that requires you to have a flat lawn with good quality grass.
Comments about the assembly have us thinking that some find it a little challenging to assemble in order to get it cutting properly, but those who have managed it successfully really love how it performs. Although some people have said that it was hard work to use, perhaps they didn’t realise that it was a hand mower which you have to push by hand…

- Gives a great cut and finish to your lawn
- Cheap and environmentally friendly

What We Say
We love manual mowers because we think it’s great exercise, good for the environment and makes you appreciate spending time in your garden. When you have worked hard to get the lawn cut and there is a nice finish to it, it’s rewarding, but maybe that’s just us…This Einhell hand push mower is reliable, well built, cheap and easy to use.
Hand mowers in general are not designed to deal with large areas of grass or unkempt lawns which require more industrious style mowers to keep under control, so don’t be surprised if this cannot deal with long grass, it’s not what it was designed to do. This mower will, however, maintain a good lawn easily and keep the lawn looking very crisp and well cut. The finishing cut that it produces is very good, especially for a cheap mower like this.
You have to spend a bit of time assembling and configuring it correctly so that it cuts effectively but that’s going to be very similar with all hand mowers that you own and will require some adjustment to get the blade sitting nicely for a clean cut.
The fact that it is so light may not always be of benefit. For example, when you hit longer grass which needs a bit more of a push you may find the lighter mower doesn’t give you enough purchase on the ground to push through it without the mower jamming or sliding. This is not what the mower was intended for but it’s just something to consider.
Is it Right for you?
If you appreciate spending time in the garden, want to be a little more environmentally friendly, like to get a workout in while mowing the lawn and would like a beautiful finish to your well kept lawn then this compact little model is a great choice. It’s cheap, too, and can be stored very easily with low maintenance costs so there is nothing much to think about. Buy it!
