What’s the Downside…?

Although the majority of the reviews are positive, there are still some negatives to be said.

The main issue seems to be with collecting wet leaves. They can sometimes clog the nozzle or the entrance to the bag, but you can easily disassemble it and unclog it to return to optimal performance.

The blower and vacuum strength is good and the mulching performance is great – you can remove a lot of leaves before having to empty the bag. The inlet isn’t very large and does clog quite easily with larger leaves, especially if they’re a little damp – the same goes for the exit into the bag; this can clog resulting in loss of suction. This is easily cleared and is again made worse with damp leaves. Overall, a good return on investment. – Matt

Is it Suitable for You..?

If you often have leaves falling off and blocking your way around your yard or patio and can’t be bothered to use a leaf raker for hours, then the VonHaus 3 in 1 leaf blower will suit you just fine.

You can use it to blow all the leaves in one area, and then use the vacuum function to suck them all up. And to finish, just unzip the bag, and empty out the mulched leaves into your compost.

With such amazing features and an extremely affordable price of only £39.99, it’s hard to find reasons not to get this blower.

If the vacuum gets clogged up, a quick-release mechanism lets you take the unit apart and open up the blower.

No tools are needed, and all you have to do is brush off the obstruction, put the machine back again, and keep working.

It Mulches

As you vacuum, the mulching automatically happens. This model has been upgraded and instead of the usual 10:1 ratio it now has a whopping 16:1 ratio.

This means that raking in a massive pile of leaves into several bags is no longer necessary; you can now use the Worx machine to cut them into smaller pieces that will fit into a single one.

Designed to be comfortable

The first thing you will notice is how well-balanced the WORX feels in your hand thanks to the soft-grip handle that makes extended use more comfortable.

The Design

Unlike similar tools that include a very short cable, this one has a large 10-meter cord that will be enough for working in a small garden. One thing to keep in mind is that it is made of plastic that seems to get stiff and lose its flexibility in cold weather.

The first step to cleaning your garden is to pile up the leaves. This is made easier thanks to the blower nozzle that has an opening bent upwards slightly, so you can get a better angle when holding the machine in a downward position

The variable speed helps to achieve the right amount of air for less demanding jobs or while working on areas with gravel or delicate vegetation. This is done by using a dial located on the top edge of the handle.

Vacuum Performance

Bosch’s designers made it simple to unload the bag once it gets full. There is a zip that sits on the back edge, so it is possible to empty it without even having to move the bag around.

For great manoeuvring, the second handle comes in pretty handy while vacuuming, giving you more control of where you are pointing the nozzle.
