#1 Down and Dirty

Make sure you don’t get any mud in the machine as this acts like sandpaper on the blades when they are spinning so fast. The result will be the blades becoming blunt and less effective very quickly.

#2 Unnecessary Baggage

Unless you really want it, the bag is not necessary. You can use a carrier bag that you already own, an old large plant pot or plastic tub. Having said that, for less than £10 it might be worth it for simplicity.
