They’ve ditched the white colour, it’s now a silver mountain bike with suspension, hydraulic brakes, a real chain and a 10 speed Shimano gear system.

The bottom line…

This eScent electric Bike is suited for people who want to get out and about and do some off-road riding. It’s NOT targeted at those who commute.

Having said that, you can ride it on the roads without a problem. It would be a really comfortable ride and take your up to 30 miles on one charge.

Its also has two power modes so if you want a harder workout you can turn the power down and pedal harder.

Normal road bikes range in weight from an ultra-light 7kg to a heavy 16kg. It’s no surprise that electric models weigh in at the heavy end.
